Who Will Be The 2010 Fitness Person of the Year? Vote in Our Poll to the Left.

We are kicking off the launching of this new site with an opportunity for someone - anyone in America - to win one of three awesome prizes. We're asking you to vote for the 2010 Fort Myers Fitness Member of The Year. There is a 100% chance one of you will win one of these three great prizes. If you win, it's your choice. You can have a lifetime membership to Fort Myers Fitness, FitCamp for 1 Year at no charge or $301.00 cash. The winner will be posted Monday morning, March 8th.

There is no catch. You do not have to do pushups, you do not have to run 3 miles and you do not have to sign up any new members (although that would be nice). The names you now see on the list are random names I picked out of our current file of members. As other names are written in (below in the comments section) they will be added to the list for voting. As votes are tallied you will see the percentages change immediately. As the list of names grows, we will continue to add them to the list.

Here are the rules:
- You CAN nominate and vote for yourself. You CAN vote every day. You CAN vote every day for yourself. You CAN encourage your friends to vote. Even if you know someone that is not a gym member or a Fort Myers resident, encourage them to visit the site and vote for you. Send them our link. In fact, someone from Buffalo or Boston or Memphis can nominate him or herself. Perhaps $301.00 would be a nice little prize for someone who needs a new snow shovel. If someone from out of town wins, I'll mail them a check.

- When you are nominated, your name will be added to the poll within hours. It's then up to you to sustain enough votes to stay on the list.
- I encourage you to check back for your rankings often throughout the day and the next 30 days so you do not fall off the list.
- Good luck to everyone. Family members of Ed Ryan or Ike Spanish are not eligible to win. My wife is not eligible to win or complain that I am giving away such great prizes. Prizes can not be traded in for quality time spent with Ed Ryan or free shakes. If you win a lifetime membership from me and try to take it to Gold's Gym they will probably laugh at you. It has nothing to do with your weight.
